Terrorism a Challenge

Terrorism- a challenge

Everyday we come across with news of bomb-blast somewhere in India through the media. Terrorists are aiming at major cities, leaving the common people to pay their lives.Nations’s capital was subjected to a number of bomb blasts, ensures the helplessness was total.

Though the government has taken considerable steps to calm the situation, but it is needed to do much more than merely resisting the temptation. It is obvious that the fight against the terrorists cannot be won, without producing a politics that support all sections of the society including minorities. Without co-he rant policy of internal security, the local disputes and grievances cannot be solved. Lack of sufficient patriotism on the part of the minorities also cause for terrorism.

Our fight against terrorism can succeed only when we are able to devise rules of collective engagement based on the willingness to act together without any benefit. Following few basic rules should be included in the doctrine of internal security.

1. All citizens are obliged to respect and honor the state irrespective of their religion.

2. No community or citizen would be deprived of its right to equality before the law.

3. No individual or group has a claim higher than the nation’s security

4. The centre and the state government have the obligation to produce constitutional innovation in order to co-operate honesty in all anti- terror security endeavor irrespective of their political predilections.

It should be made clear to one and all that, who give shelter or extend support direct or indirect, will have to face serious consequences.
